Who we are

Boreal IPTV ("we", "us") offers IPTV subscriptions to customers in Canada through the website borealiptv.com. You can reach us about privacy at [email protected].

What this website collects

This website has no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no payment forms. We do not use advertising trackers.

  • Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
  • Fonts: pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google.

What you send us

When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive what you choose to share, typically:

  • your phone number or email address, and your name if you give it;
  • the content of your messages, including screenshots or photos;
  • your device type and, for MAG boxes, the device MAC address;
  • details needed to confirm your order and payment.

WhatsApp is operated by Meta and email by your and our email providers. Their own privacy policies apply to how they handle messages.

Why we use it

  • to answer your questions and provide a free trial;
  • to activate, support and renew your subscription;
  • to confirm payments and keep basic records of orders;
  • to prevent abuse, such as repeated free trials.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep order and support information for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards only as long as reasonably needed for records and to resolve any dispute. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we must keep by law.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), and in Québec under Law 25, you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent, or have it deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Security

We limit access to your information to what is needed to serve you. Please do not send passwords, card numbers or other sensitive information by message.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
